Grab your skates and come check out our frozen magical oasis!
Skating on Quarry Park Pond is typically ready just before Christmas until the snow starts to melt. Signage will be posted indicating when the ice is safe to use. The pond is cleared as soon as possible after heavier snow falls. A Zamboni conditions the ice when needed. The skating area is lit up in the evenings for people wishing to enjoy evening skating.
Benches are available around the pond for those that wish to watch or put their skates on.
Use of the pond is free of charge to the public. Washrooms can be accessed inside the HAC building during working hours and on weekends during the day. Skates must be removed to enter the building.
