MUSEUM & HERITAGE

Stonewall Quarry Park Interpretive Centre (Museum)
On November 11th, 2007, a fire reduced the original Interpretive Centre to ashes. All of the artifacts, photographs, dioramas, and fossils were destroyed in the blaze and reduced to ash. A tragic loss of history for the town and the province.
In 2011 the new Interpretive Centre was opened to the public. Due to the kindness of families in the area, many artifacts, photographs, records and historical items have been brought to the museum for display.
The new facility is one of Manitoba's most environmentally healthy buildings!
