Heritage Arts Centre

Welcome to Stonewall Quarry Park Heritage Arts Centre!

Please feel free to look around our beautiful building, check out the variety of different activities we have available; stop at the Interpretive Centre Museum for information about the Town, the Quarry and the Ordovician Sea. Visit the ever-changing Art Gallery in the lobby upstairs with beautiful paintings created by talented local artists. Go outside to take in the picturesque views on the wrap around deck.

Feel free to stop in at the front desk to speak with our staff about the many activities available throughout the park, grab some brochures or maps for your travels. We are happy to help you in any way that we can!

The Interpretive Centre features several different displays and artifacts from the days when the Quarry was in operation. We also have many fossils from the Ordovician Period. Sadly, on November 11th, 2007, the Interpretive Centre burned down, and the original artifacts, photographs and fossil were destroyed. In 2011 the town rebuilt the Heritage Arts Centre from the ashes, into the beautiful building that stands there today. The new building is environmentally friendly. It is built to LEED Silver standards, making it one of the most environmentally healthy buildings in Manitoba. Artifacts and fossils have been added to the museum along with the new displays for everyone to enjoy. The museum is open to the public and is free of charge!

Our wedding facilities are perfect for all kinds of weddings, performances and events.
