Alcohol Service
If you wish to serve alcohol during your event, you will require a social occasion liquor permit. These can be obtained from the LGCA permit office, Liquor Marts, or online at www.mylgca.ca. Approval from the Quarry Park Heritage Arts Centre is required prior to applying for a permit. Only alcohol listed on the permit is permitted, as per LGCA rules, alcohol must be purchased in Manitoba. It is the renter's responsibility to purchase and deliver the permit, the receipts and the alcohol in advance of the event and to remove all product upon its completion.
You must use Heritage Arts Centre bartenders for your licensed event. The total number of bartenders required will vary depending on the size of the event. One bartender is required for each 80 people attending.
Heritage Art Centre Staff have completed the Serving it Safe program. Arrangements must be made a minimum of one month prior to your event. Cost: $30.00 / hour / bartender.
Corkage Fees (incl. GST):
Base fee: $50.00. Base Corkage fee includes:
- Ice
- Plastic glassware
Additional Corkage: $24 / 24 beer, $26 / 26 oz. spirits, $5 / bottle of wine
For licensed events the following beverages ARE included in the additional corkage fees:
- Soft drinks (Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Ginger Ale, and 7Up)
- Clamato juice
- Tonic water
Cost for signature drinks requested by the renter to be determined on a case-by-case basis.
For non-licensed events (GST incl.):
- Base corkage fee $50
- Pop $1.50 per drink
- Orange Juice (breakfast meetings) $8 per jug
- Coffee / Tea $15 per carafe (incl. cream, sugar, spoons, mugs)
ENTANDEM fees are set annually by the provider. Rate is currently $90.12 plus tax per event.
