The Town of Stonewall by authority of the Noxious Weeds Act, has the responsibility to control weeds on all property under their jurisdiction.  The Town is a member of the Rockwood-Rosser, Stonewall & Teulon Weed Control District.  

If weeds are not kept in check, the Weed Inspector may enter private property, control the weeds and invoice the owner for the costs incurred.
