FULL TIME ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK


The Town of Stonewall invites qualified individuals to apply for the full time position of Accounts Payable Clerk.

Under the supervision and direction of the Assistant CAO, the Accounts Payable Clerk, as part of the Finance Department, will provide support to management in the running of the day to day business operations of the Town in accordance with Statutory Requirements and the Policies and objectives of Council.

The preferred applicant will have strong accounting skills, exceptional customer service skills,  and the ability to positively interact with vendors, management, and staff.  Applicants must have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and accounting software applications.  Municipal experience would be an asset, as would experience in TownSuite Municipal Software, and Quickbooks.

Wage will be commensurate with qualifications and experience based on Town of Stonewall Non-Union Employee Policy 3.1.  This position includes an excellent employee benefits package.
