NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING SPECIAL SERVICE PLAN NO. 01-2025
FOR THE RESIDENTIAL WASTE AND RECYCLABLE CURBSIDE COLLECTION, REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL SERVICE WITHIN THE TOWN OF STONEWALL
The council of the Town of Stonewall has scheduled a public hearing at Town Hall, 293 Main Street, Stonewall on the 22nd day of January, 2025 at 6:30 PM to present the special service proposal.
A written objection may be filed with the Chief Administrative Officer, at the Town Office via email to info@stonewall.ca prior to the commencement of the hearing. At the hearing, Council will hear any potential taxpayer who wishes to make a presentation, ask questions or register an objection to the special service proposal.
All objections, written or verbal, must be filed prior to the adjournment of the hearing and must include the name, address and property description of the person filing the objection and the grounds of their objection.
Dated at the Town of Stonewall this 19th day of December A.D. 2024, and issued pursuant to Section 318 of The Municipal Act.

LEVEL 2 FIRE BAN
Effective immediately, in accordance with Burning By-Law 02-24, the Town of Stonewall,has initiated a Level 2 (ORANGE) Fire Ban.
NO FIRES OF ANY TYPE ARE ALLOWED IN THE ANNEXED LANDS.
Town residents outside the annexed lands may resume responsible recreational burning (use of fire pits, BBQs, smokers, etc.) according to the by-law. (you can view the Burning By-Law in the by-laws section of the website)
