2017 Color Theme of the Year!

In honour of Canada 150, the Communities in Bloom Committee has chosen RED & WHITE as the color theme of the year, rather than having a flower of the year.  We look forward to seeing the Town decked out in a variety of red and white blooms this summer!!

FREE GARDEN COMPOST is available at Southside Service.  Simply bring your own container to transport the compost home to your garden.  In lieu of payment, a donation can be made to Palliative Care, but is not necessary.

YARD OF THE WEEK
The Town of Stonewall Communities in Bloom Committee in participation with Home Hardware and the Stonewall Teulon Tribune, are pleased to bring you the Yard of the Week contest!  Every week through July and August residents can nominate a yard in Stonewall that is deserving of recognition.  Head over to Home Hardware or the Stonewall Branch of the South Interlake Regional Library to fill out a ballot (or two) and then check each weekly edition of the Stonewall Teulon Tribune throughout the summer for a photo announcing the winning yard!!!
Photos of the winning yards will also be posted to our photo galleries here.

The mission of Communities in Bloom is to inspire a sustainable approach to improving the quality of life and civic pride in Manitoba’s communities.

Communities of all sizes foster pride through sustainable best practices in community involvement, environmental awareness, beautification, heritage preservation, education, and networking.

The heart of Communities in Bloom is people... people of all ages and backgrounds! Community workers and volunteers from schools, service clubs, businesses, local government and private citizens all working together in a combined effort to succeed and be recognized. What an incredible opportunity to showcase your community to its own citizens, visitors and the rest of Manitoba and beyond.

In Manitoba it has been the experience of many communities that the Communities in Bloom program can be the catalyst to get all sectors of the community involved and foster community pride.
